type 8, is a G protein-coupled, seven-transmembrane domain recept o r protein. Chemokines are key molecules in directing leukocyte migration toward sites of inflammation. The human C-C chemokine I-309 is a monocyte chemoattractant a n d inhibits apoptosis in thymic cell lines.
