in endochondral bone formation, angiogenesis, and tumor biology. It also interacts with a variety of extracellular and structural proteins, contributing to the maintenance of skin integrity and homeostasis. Mutations in ECM1 are associated with lipoid proteinosis disorder (also known as hyalinosis cutis et mucosae or Urbach-Wiethe disease) that is characterized by generalized thickening of skin, mucosae and certain viscera (1). Recommended Applications WB, IHC, ICC, IP Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 IHC: 1:100 - 250 ICC: 1:100 - 250 IP: 1:10 - 100 Species Reactivity * Human, Rat *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis. Products Data Western blot analysis on (A) MDA-MB-435, (B) human skin, and (C) A375 cell lysates using anti-ECM1 RabMAb (cat. #5447-1). Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded breast carcinoma tissue using anti-ECM1 RabMAb (cat. #5447-1). Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded kidney tissue using anti-ECM1 RabMAb (cat. #5447-1). Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human ECM1 was used as an immunogen. |
