Background CXCL7 stimulates various processes including mitogenesis, synthesis of extracellular matrix, glucose metabolism and synthesis of plasminogen activator[1]. CXCL7 has been shown to stimulate neutrophils for chemotaxis over an extremely wide range of stimulus concentrations, for the degranulation of lysosomal enzymes, and to up-regulate adhesion molecules on some cells[2]. |
