Reconstitution Reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Human B7-2/CD86, Fc Chimera (HEK293-expressed) (rHuB7-2/CD86, Fc Chimera) to 100 μg/mL using ddH2O or diluted with PBS. Storage & Stability Lyophilized recombinant Human B7-2/CD86, Fc Chimera (HEK293-expressed) (rHuB7-2/CD86, Fc Chimera) is stored at -20°C. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer. It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage. Shipping Room temperature in continental US; may vary elsewhere. Background CD86 is a transmembrane region, and a longer cytoplasmic domain than CD80. CD86 is constitutively expressed on interdigitating dendritic cells (DCs), Langerhans cells, peripheral blood DCs, memory B cells and germinal center B cells, and macrophages. CD86 is rapidly upregulated on B cells following activation by cross-linking of the Ig receptor or the addition of a variety of cytokines[1]. |
