editing by site-specific deamination of adenosines. This enzyme destabilizes double-stranded RNA through conversion of adenosine to inosine. Mutations in ADAR have been associated with dyschromatosis symmetrica hereditaria (1). Recommended Applications WB, IHC, ICC, FC Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 IHC: 1:50 - 100 ICC: 1:50 - 100 FC: 1:10 - 100 Species Reactivity * Human, Mouse *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis. Products Data Western blot analysis on (A) HeLa, (B) HepG2, and (C) K562 cell lysates using anti-ADAR RabMAb (cat. #5509-1). Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human brain tissue using anti-ADAR RabMAb (cat. #5509-1). Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human ADAR was used as an immunogen. |
