for globular and full-length adiponectin (APM1), an essential hormone secreted by adipocytes that acts as an antidiabetic. It is involved in metabolic pathways that regulate lipid metabolism such as fatty acid oxidation. Adiponectin receptor 1 mediates increased AMPK, PPARA ligand activity, fatty acid oxidation and glucose uptake by adiponectin. This protein has some high-affinity receptor for globular adiponectin but low-affinity receptor for full-length adiponectin (1). Recommended Applications WB, IHC, ICC, FC Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 IHC: 1:50 - 100 ICC: 1:100 - 250 FC: 1:100 - 500 Species Reactivity * Human, Mouse, Rat *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis. Products Data Western blot analysis on (A) human muscle and (B) human heart lysates using anti-Adiponectin receptor 1 RabMAb (cat. #5512-1). Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human kidney tissue using anti-Adiponectin receptor 1 RabMAb (cat. #5512-1). Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in the intracellular domain of human Adiponectin receptor 1 was used as an immunogen. |
