| 產品參數 | 【產品介紹】Apurinic endonuclease (Ape 1) functions as
a major DNA repair enzyme that is essential for embryogenesis and cell viability (1). It is involved in the base excision repair (BER) pathway and acts as a reduction-oxidation signaling factor to maintain transcription factors in an active reduced state (2). Ape 1 plays a critical role as a transcriptional coactivator for different transcription factors (i.e. AP-1, NF-kappaB, p53) in controlling different cellular processes such as apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation (3). Elevated levels of Ape 1 have been found in cancers such as ovarian, cervical, and prostate (4).
