subfamily of the protein-tyrosine kinase family (1). It is a receptor for members of the ephrin-A family, which binds to ephrin-A1, -A3, -A4 and -A5. EphA2 plays an important role in angiogenesis and tumor neovascularization (2). Mutations in this protein are the cause of certain genetically-related cataract disorders (1). Note: Primary antibody was diluted with 1% BSA. Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in the extracellular domain in human EphA2 was used as an immunogen. |
