belongs to the FRATAXIN family. It functions in regulating mitochondrial iron transport and respiration (1). Frataxin is crucial for iron–sulfur cluster (ISC) biosynthesis and plays a primary role in their protein maturation in human cells (2). A reduced level of functional protein results in Friedreich ataxia (1, 2). Recommended Applications WB Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 Species Reactivity * Human *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis. Products Data Western blot analysis on (A) human heart, (B) fetal skin, and (C) PBL lysates using anti-Frataxin RabMAb (cat. #5190-1).
