ErbB/EGF receptor protein tyrosine kinase family (1,2). Tyrosine phosphorylation of HER3/ErbB3 depends on its association with other ErbB tyrosine kinases (3). Phosphorylation sites in the carboxy-terminal tail mediate downstream signaling pathways. HER3 / ErbB3 is highly expressed in many cancer cells, and it may work together with other Erb members in tumorigenesis and proliferation (4, 5). Recommended Applications WB, ICC, IP Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 ICC: 1:50 - 100 IP: 1:10 - 100 Species Reactivity * Human *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis Products Data Western blot analysis on SKBR-3 cell lysates using anti-Phospho-HER3 / ErbB3 (pY1222) RabMAb (cat. #3871-1). Cells were either (A) untreated (B) treated with Neuregulin. Specificity A phospho specific peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Tyrosine 1222 of human HER3 / ErbB3 was used as an immunogen. This antibody only detects HER3 / ErbB3 phosphorylated at Tyrosine 1222. |
