a member of the interferon regulatory transcription factor (IRF) family. IRF-2 competitively inhibits the IRF1-mediated transcriptional activation of interferons alpha and beta, and presumably other proteins that employ IRF1 for activation. However, IRF-2 also functions as a transcriptional activator of histone H4 (1). Recommended Applications WB, IHC Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 IHC: 1:50 - 100 Species Reactivity * Human, Mouse *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis.
