Background Recombinant Human Interleukin-17F could induce pulmonary neutrophilia and amplifies antigen-induced allergic response[1]. IL-17F has been shown to have multiple functions in inflammatory responses and plays an important role in the tumorigenesis of human colonic epithelial cells.. Similar to IL-17A, IL-17F induces the production of many pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-6/GM-CSF) and chemokines (CXCL1/2/5) in different cell types, as well as enhances granulopoiesis and neutrophil recruitment[2]. |
