intracellular actin-modulating protein that binds and depolymerizes filamentous F-actin and inhibits the polymerization of monomeric G-actin in a pH-dependent manner. It is involved in the translocation of actin-cofilin complex from cytoplasm to nucleus (1). Recommended Applications WB, ICC Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 ICC: 1:50 - 100 Species Reactivity * Human, Mouse, Rat *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis. Products Data Western blot analysis on (A) 293T and (B) Caco-2 cell lysates using anti-Cofilin-1 RabMAb (cat. #5310-1). Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human Cofilin-1 was used as an immunogen. |
