are composed of a membrane-associated protein core substituted with a variable number of heparan sulfate chains. Members of the glypican-related integral membrane proteoglycan family (GRIPS) contain a core protein anchored to the cytoplasmic membrane via a glycosyl phosphatidylinositol linkage. These proteins, such asGlypican-5, may play a role in the control of cell division and growth regulation (1). Recommended Applications WB, IHC Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 IHC: 1:250 - 500 Species Reactivity * Human, Mouse, Rat *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis. Products Data Western blot analysis on (A) A549, (B) fetal lung, (C) HepG2, and (D) C6 lysates using anti-Glypican-5 RabMAb (cat. #5285-1). Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human brain tissue using anti-Glypican-5 RabMAb (cat. #5285-1). Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human Glypican-5 was used as an immunogen. |
