of tyrosine. It catalyzes the conversion of 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate to homogentisate. Defects in HPD are a cause of tyrosinemia type 3 (TYRO3) and hawkinsinuria (HAWK) (1). Recommended Applications WB, IHC Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 IHC: 1:250 - 500 Species Reactivity * Human, Rat *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis Products Data Western blot analysis on (A) HepG2, (B) fetal liver, and (C) human kidney lysates using anti-HPD RabMAb (cat. #3921-1). Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human kidney tissue using anti-HPD RabMAb (cat. #3921-1). Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human HPD was used as an immunogen. |
