been preserved throughout evolution and are important for protein translation, folding, unfolding, translocation, and degradation, primarily by stimulating the ATPase activity of chaperone proteins, Hsp70s (1). It has been found that HSP40-4 is a partner DnaJ for the Hsc70-based chaperone system (2). HSP40-4 is know to play a role in protein import into the mitochondria (3). Recommended Applications WB, IP, FC Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:10,000 - 50,000 IP: 1:10 - 100 FC: 1:10 - 100 Species Reactivity * Human, Mouse, Rat *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis. Products Data Western blot analysis on (A) HepG2, (B) SKBR-3, (C) Jurkat, and (D) Raji cell lysates using anti-HSP40-4 RabMAb (cat. #5482-1). Flow cytometric analysis of permeabilized Jurkat cells using anti-HSP40-4 RabMAb (red) (catalog # 5482-1) or a rabbit IgG (negative) (green). Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues near the C-terminus of human HSP40-4 was used as an immunogen. |
