Background Fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand is a type of cell factor, able to promote the generation and differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells and their progenitor cells. The mRNA of Fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand is highly expressed in certain tissues, including peripheral blood mononuclear cells, the heart, placenta, lung, spleen and thymus tissue, and is also expressed to a certain extent in non-hematopoietic tissues, including the prostate, testis, ovaries, intestines, liver, kidney and skeletal muscle[1]. |
