Background Stem Cell Factor is a hematopoietic cytokine, triggered by binding to its ligand c-kit, and plays an important role in hematopoiesis, spermatogenesis, and melanogenesis. Stem Cell Factor (SCF) is applied for hematopoietic stem cell mobilization, exvivo stem/progenitor cell expansion, gene therapy, and immunotherapy[1]. Stem Cell Factor regulates cell survival, proliferation, differentiation, and migration in divergent cell types[2]. |
